Sandy Skye Netburn is a young singer, songwriter and guitarist from Long Island with an old soul and a few issues, who has been writing songs about the life of a teenage girl in the 21st century with a wry wit and a modern vocabulary, embedding chords and melodies that give inspiration and goosebumps to listeners and fans. Topical commentary, emotional exploration and humor permeate lyrics bridging generations of musical style and substance. Her live performances are just a girl and a guitar, with an occasional appearance by one of her ventriloquism puppets just for fun.
