I don’t believe in God or science
I don’t believe in love
The future’s never happening
If the present’s all we ever get to touch
I don’t need to feel
Don’t have any one person to begrudge
When in an instant I can leave this world
And remain untouched

So you can try and touch me
But you never will
My name is merely a ghost
Hiding behind a veil
Try as you will
Try as you might
I’m untouchable
But I can keep you running all night

Some say it’s evil
But I’m just doing what I must
No different than on the streets of any big city
That guy that’s dealing drugs
We’re both taking souls
In exchange for pleasure
‘Cause I keep half a promise
Knowing how it’ll backfire
And you become my debtor

I’m not very well educated
I may not be smart
I could never hold a job
But I can sure as hell charm
Any person walking down the street
Into getting on their knees
And begging for my mercy for
Having the audacity to breathe
