Analogue Fictions by Santiago Leibson Trio
The music on this album seeks to capture the desires, imaginations, and sounds of the 1970s. I believe those years were a pivotal moment when one vision of the world was finally dismantled and the reality we live in today began to take shape. Although I didn’t live through that era, I have a deep curiosity about the artistic expressions that emerged during that time, because it was the last time art was made without nostalgia—rather, with a projection toward the future.

La música de este disco trata de capturar los deseos, las imaginaciones y los sonidos de la década de los 70. Pienso que esos años fueron un momento bisagra donde se terminó de destruir un proyecto de mundo y comenzó a forjarse la realidad en la que vivimos en la actualidad. Aunque no vivi en esa época tengo una profunda curiosidad por las expresiones artísticas desarrolladas en ese momento porque fue la última vez que se hizo arte sin nostalgia, sino con una proyección sobre el futuro.
