a rather sinister track. it's a story of a person who has retreated from the world, and can't function normally socially. she has resorted to collecting and preserving things (animals in this case) to surround herself with in an effort to drive out the loneliness. and she's now set her eyes on bigger prey in the form of a human to be her perfect companion, preserved forever. read John Fowles' The Collector and you'll find the basic premise for this song. :)
