Grateful Blues is Scott Low’s heartfelt reimagining of the traditional blues songs that helped launch the Grateful Dead in the 1960s. With his Tricone Resonator guitar and smoky Appalachian voice, Scott brings raw honesty and soul to classics like Viola Lee Blues (first single out now).

This is not just a tribute — it’s a deep dive into the crossroads where Delta blues, Appalachian roots, and Deadhead spirit all meet. Recorded, produced, and mixed by Scott himself in his basement studio, the album captures the immediacy and grit of real blues while honoring the long, storied culture of the Dead.

Following the success of last year’s Appalachian Blues (which held strong on the Roots Music Report Blues Charts for over a year), Scott is back with a full-band record that bridges the worlds of traditional blues fans and diehard Deadheads alike.
