Everything that we have seen and came to know has gone.
Like society itself the changes voyage on.
Forgetting the past and why we do this can do harm,
In a group of people fighting to get what they want.

You couldn't change it if you tried,
And I know why.

We say that were looking for some help,
And then we get it,
Without giving a voice to those who come out to help.
But you can't do it all by yourself.

Shadow the smaller voice and hide,
Your lack of confidence with pride.

Dog eat dog and hog it all in fear of what may come,
Showing some compassion to someone
You could learn from.
Climb each other drag each other down until we fall,
Like a bunch of children we will crawl.

Instead of growing,
we get by,
And stay in sight.

We say that were living in a hell.
We burn together.
And the things that we want we could get with someones help.
But you can't do it with someone else.

Outlive the envy with a lie,
That you're the only one who's right.
