Dear Friends, fans, and listeners,
After writing the majority of originals on the last two CDs (also available on Bandcamp) by the Victoria band "The Soul Shakers", with whom I play, I still have a slew of songs bursting to be heard, songs which don't fit the band's R&B mold.
Welcome to my first solo album, an eclectic collection of songs - an album hard to encapsulate in a single genre-descriptor. There are some pop-style entries, a rootsy folk tune, a cynical rock song, a sad ballad, a love song, a tune with decided country leanings, an anthemic paean to children, and a couple of R&B-ish numbers - a mixed bag, to be sure.
