It’s nearing Halloween
The ghosts are back again
And running in the streets
Are Ghouls and Green Goblins
Trick or treat, there’s still time to see the show
Rushing in from the road below

And now it’s Halloween
Crisp shirts and clean white teeth
Before a shop display
Of sweets and candy cane
The Witches mount their brooms and disappear
And Pumpkins roam from far and near

This is the night we behold the unseen
There is nothing to fear this Halloween

And as we lie awake
The sky burns bright again
Into the early morn
The souls were here and gone
The streetlights led the way for them to go
The town is clear now we’re alone
