"Information about Saturn:
Beautiful, glamorous and mysterious, Saturn's rings are among the most recognizable features in the solar system. They spread over hundreds of thousands of kilometers, yet they are extremely thin – perhaps only 10 meters (about 30 feet) thick. The rings consist of billions of individual particles of mostly water ice which create waves, wakes and other structures. Named alphabetically in order of their discovery, the order of the main rings outward from Saturn is D, C, B, A, F, G and E. There are also several other faint unnamed rings made up of very fine icy particles."

About this album:
On this album, I challenged myself and my normal way to work when I make music. I set up a rule that everything I played was played live and recorded live directly as audio files. No midi editing. No preset sounds. No changes of mistakes and wrong notes etc.
Where there are rules, there are also exceptions - of course. On "D Ring" I have used a sample file, and some of the drums on "B Ring" are samples too.
The only "editing" I have done to all the tracks are adding some reverb, eq and compressor for final mastering.

I got my inspiration for making my album like this when a friend (thanks Bo) introduced me to the German composer Nils Frahm. By watching his live performance I was inspired to change my “normal” process on how I make music. I wanted to make music in this present moment.

It has been an huge eye-opener for me to make music like this. And it will definitely change my way of making music in the future.
