The first album by Secret Idiots, the pet project of John Hiscox, a resident of Carlisle and an all-time music lover. All invented and performed, bastardised and masterdised by the one person. It certainly smacks of a first experiment, but a good one. Unintentional influences of Joy Division, The Cure, Scritti Politti, Nightingales, Blue Aeroplanes, Associates, Mogwai, Richenel, Cocteau Twins, The Smiths, Pixies and some more modern stuff like BC Camplight, Teleman, Working Mens Club.
