I’ve often called this a cynical love song. Even in well-matched relationships there are “I really wish I didn’t love you” times. This is an ode to that blunt reality. We stole the groove from the Divine Fits’ “Like Ice Cream” only to find out that they stole it from the Rolling Stones’ “Honky-Tonk Woman.”
