The Bend by KousK

Our ninth release comes from KousK out of Calgary, AB. It is a light, playful, and sensitive piece perfect for the winter season. KousK has been playing classical piano since the age of five, and channeled her recent studies into this composition. As the song progresses, there is a steady build of decorative soundscapes and orchestration. The gentle and uplifting song rounds out the year as we look forward to 2015.

"When I set out to write this song, the feeling I wanted to embed was the dream-like quality you feel when you are very happy. The goal of the song is essentially to act as a sort of emotional support if you are feeling very vulnerable." -KousK
