THE GREAT INDOORS recorded Zener_09 in the summer of 2019 and mixed it during the winter of 2019/20.

They – Ged Kite and Barmy Owl – recorded and mixed Zener_09 in remote pockets of West Yorkshire and West Cumbria – the landscapes serving a huge influence upon them and this.

Kite and Owl recorded and mixed live improvisations to 4-track over several sessions – using various instruments, objects and voices – combined with field recordings and god-knows what from the other side.
