RICHARD KNOX presents Total Presence

Total Presence is the latest solo release from A-Sun Amissa founder and Gizeh Records overlord Richard Knox and his debut for the Sensory Leakage label.

These two 30-minute drone explorations were recorded live in a single take, utilising electric guitar and an array of FX pedals. No mixing. No overdubs.

Knox's approach here marries distortion, ambience and feedback into a deep claustrophobic and resonant atmosphere. An undulating, vibrational drift that evolves and builds and crumbles and sustains in equal measure. Total Presence is an exploration in density and tone; an experimental trip in pursuit of present meaning.
