BABEL is all about the experience of disconnection—disconnected from real life, from humans, from yourself—and reconnecting it all with sound. It’s a personal work built from the fragments of sleepless nights, overthinking, and glitch memories that wouldn't go away.
This record takes influences from UK Garage, Dubstep, and Future Garage and transforms those into sparer and more unpredictable versions. It vacillates between cold, open moods and heavy, sentimental downtimes—walking through the city at 3AM with things on the mind and vibration in the chest.
They are the result of confusion, introspection, and having to feel something real in a world that all too frequently does not. It borrows on real experiences of silence, solitude, and hope as much as anything.
BABEL is not perfection; it is expression. It is the voice of me experimenting with working through the thoughts I have and leaving behind a trail of sound just in case someone is somewhere else with the same feeling.
