Onírica by Sergeant Jay

I began producing and composing this album in 2016, shortly after releasing my second EP, Déjà Vu. At first, I envisioned “Us” as the lead single for Onírica, but ultimately, I chose to include it in the Déjà Vu project instead.

As time went on, I found myself in my home studio working on various projects while keeping Onírica close to my heart. During this period, I released several tracks and albums, all the while searching for the true "soul" of this album. I decided to put the project on hold and explore other musical avenues, yet I occasionally produced random songs that could potentially fit within Onírica.

In 2018/2019, I collaborated with Michi to release "Now and Then," which reignited my passion for Onírica. I returned to my old projects, reworking them with fresh ideas, new instruments, and collaborations with incredible featured artists. After nearly eight long years, I am proud to present the final result: Onírica.

Whether you choose to buy, listen to, or stream this project, you may discover connections in the chord progressions or simply notice the Rhodes Pianos that grace every song. This instrument truly is the star of this collection.
