On this album, I talk about traumas that I kept quiet about for many years — my suicide attempt in 2013, my toxic and abusive relationship with a mentally and physically unhealthy person,my dissociative disorder and domestic violence.
I am an anomaly;
I shouldn't exist.
All I had back then was fake love
and a gun to my head.
Last year, I accidentally met the person who caused me all that immense suffer. I remembered all the horror I lived through at that time. This album is an imprint of that pain, of that period, After so many years, I had to return to this nightmare and face my demons. I let my suppressed pain out—all those crazy screams almost killed me during the recording. I recorded the track “Heal Me” in several takes because it was emotionally fucking hard for me to perform it.
This album is a reminder that deep inside each of us there is great pain, and we should not be afraid to talk about it and ask for help. Please, if you are facing serious problems and are struggling, call the psychological support hotline.
