Transcend Yourself by Shady Monk

Originally created for/released on Novatone's 'Orbit 24: Uplifting Trance' various artists compilation. For this release, artists were tasked with creating an original track to match the theme of the release. I felt like I'd been trained from a young age on this genre, as I used to listen endlessly to my oldest brother James (aka DJ D00MB0T) spin Trance and Techno vinyl for hours from his room growing up. I did my best to emulate the sound of some of that material he used to spin. I've also been working towards using my voice more often in my work and felt the track deserved some original vocals, so I did my best to come up with something simple and catchy!
