Shahs hails from the odd region between Richard Thompson, piano balladry, and weirdo 70’s art-rock worship. They’ve been toiling away, playing the occasional show in the desolate, post-Manifest Destiny region of Missoula, Montana. Going for almost 20 years, Shahs has shifted from a single-minded special “idea” into a kind of apocalypse-by-committee, with songs that reference the end of all things
