Then someone's son goes to a movie
Someone's love goes to a show
Someone's friend goes to a club; they go to class
They didn't know (didn’t know) a young man was pissed that day
Wants the world to hear what he's gotta say
He acts like there's hell to pay
Traumatic pasts explode like a hand grenade
These hopeful souls, blinded by the sun
There's nothing that they could've done
They were smiling; having fun
Now their trapped in front of a smoking gun.
