Ex Voto by Jamie Barnes

Jamie Barnes's music is both easy & difficult to classify. It's singer-songwriter & americana, but it also has always had an edge where it shows the human struggle between hope & depression, love & loss, flying & falling. It's been well over a decade since Jamie Barnes's last album, & we're pleased to welcome him back into the fold of the Silber family.
Which leads to the elephant in the room. Why is Jamie's record out on Silber? It goes back to the early days of Silber when we were put out The Alcohol EPs by Remora, Rivulets, & Pale Horse and Rider which led to Jamie sending us a demo. It blew me away, I don't think he was even 20 years old at the time. He's a friend & in the end Silber is always about friends over style.
