Ellesse by Blanc Motif

These recordings were strictly performed, exploring the use of samples and performance in the context of electronic music.

All the sound sources were from lost records found at record shops. These sounds are snippets from different times, that were later sampled, becoming present time at the moment of creation.
This was the foundation of Blanc Motif's aesthetics: playing with time, stretching it, repeating it, clashing chronologies and giving birth to new moments.

After a few days of studio effort, these recordings were born. They were kept as they were printed, with almost no edition or processing of the sound.
