Preset by Simple Circuits

Preset was a concept e.p. for me in which I challenged myself to use nothing but my old Casio and Yamaha preset instruments from my youth as sound sources. Some musicians may refer to these instruments as toys. However, I love the tones that these old instruments produce. I think they are quite unique and are very musical. I used the following keyboards for these songs:

Casio MT-68
Casio CT-401
Casio PT-80
Yamaha MP-1
Yamaha PS-1

I recorded them onto a TEAC 3340S reel to reel tape machine for a warm, retro vibe before mixing this in my DAW (Cubase). I am NOT a professional and do this kind of thing only because I love doing it! I hope you enjoy these four songs as much as I have enjoyed, writing, performing, singing and producing them.
