Η Σίσσυ Δουτσίου είναι μια διεθνώς καταξιωμένη spoken word artist, ποιήτρια και ηθοποιός. Οι ηχογραφήσεις, τα βίντεο και οι συνταρακτικές ζωντανές εμφανίσεις της εξερευνούν προσωπικές εμπειρίες, κοινωνικά ζητήματα, τον έρωτα και το πένθος.

Ο πρώτος της δίσκος, «Προσβολή Δημοσίας Αιδούς», δημιουργήθηκε με τη συμμετοχή μουσικών από την Ελλάδα, τον Καναδά και τη Ρωσία, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των Orphx, Blakaut, Dimitris Koufoudakis (Fer De Lance), Biomass και Van Fog.

Πρόκειται για έναν δίσκο spoken word με ελληνικούς στίχους, που αποτελείται από 8 κομμάτια, συνολικής διάρκειας 40 λεπτών. Ανάμεσά τους ξεχωρίζουν τα «Θέλω να Μάθω να σε Αγαπώ», «Νέκταρ», «Αθήνα», και «Ηρωίνη», λόγω της ιδιαίτερης, καθηλωτικής τους ατμόσφαιρας.

Η «Προσβολή Δημοσίας Αιδούς» αποτελεί μια πολυεπίπεδη ηχητική δημιουργία, που καλεί το κοινό να συμμετάσχει σε μια εξαιρετική ποιητική γλώσσα και μια σύγχρονη ηχητική εμπειρία. Με τη δυναμική της προσέγγιση, η Δουτσίου αναμιγνύει ποιητικά θέματα ταυτότητας, κοινωνικής κρίσης και ατομικής εξέγερσης με post punk, industrial noise και experimental electronica ηχοτοπία. «Είναι οι ιστορίες συνηθισμένων καθημερινών κοριτσιών, που επιμένουν μέχρι το τέλος, πιστές στη λύσσα τους για ελευθερία, έρωτα και καταστροφή κάθε μορφής εξουσίας. Κορίτσια σαν τις φίλες μου δηλαδή», δηλώνει η ίδια, περιγράφοντας το πνεύμα του δίσκου.

Κυκλοφορεί ψηφιακά στις 9 Μαϊου και σε LP στις 30 Μαϊου από την Inner Ear σε συνεργασία με τον διεθνή οργανισμό The Institute For Experimental Arts.

Sissy Doutsiou is an internationally acclaimed spoken word artist, poet, and actress. Her recordings, videos, and powerful live performances explore personal experiences, social issues, love, and grief.

Her debut album, "Prosvoli Dimosias Aidous (Insult of Public Modesty)", was created with the collaboration of musicians from Greece, Canada, and Russia, including Orphx, Blakaut, Dimitris Koufoudakis (Fer De Lance), Biomass, and Van Fog.

This is a spoken word record in greek, featuring 8 tracks with a total duration of 40 minutes. The highlights include tracks “Θέλω Να Μάθω Να Σε Αγαπώ (I Want to Learn How to Love You)”, “Νέκταρ (Nektar)”, “Αθήνα (Athens)”, and “Ηρωίνη (Heroin)”, known for their unique, gripping atmosphere.

"Insult of Public Modesty" is a multilayered sonic creation, inviting listeners into an exceptional poetic language and a contemporary audio experience. With her dynamic approach, Doutsiou blends poetic themes of identity, social crisis, and individual rebellion with post-punk, industrial noise, and experimental electronica soundscapes. “These are the stories of ordinary, everyday girls who persist to the end, loyal to their rage for freedom, love, and the destruction of all forms of power. Girls like my friends.” she says, describing the spirit of the album.

The album will be released digitally on May 9 and on LP on May 30 via Inner Ear in collaboration with the international organisation The Institute For Experimental Arts.
