A bunch of teenagers hailing from greater Boston in the mid-90s, Skavoovie & the Epitones were on the the forefront of, what would become known as, "third-wave ska." Their youthful music is heavily inspired by "traditional" 60s ska through a lens of their era. With the debut originally on the venerable indie Moon Ska label. They played, recorded, people danced, and fun was had by all.
