There’s a tiger at the corridor, looking at me,
walking, roaring and gazing, roaring at me.
There’s a praying mantis on the wall, calling my name,
putting its claws together, guessing how I taste.

There’s a bearded Leprechaun under my bed,
looking for a pot of gold, asking me if I have seen it.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde around the corner,
sipping from a bottle of Bell’s, they don’t look like they want to share.

It’s not the first time, feels like the first time.
It’s not the first time that I dream of all these creatures.
I know they’re in my mind, but can’t help thinking about them.
