Nineteen Ninety is a ten-track, circa four minute album by A. Kalaczynski and A.G. Davis, a duo working under the name Adoption. Meticulous drum –and synthesizer programming went into recording the tracks for Nineteen Ninety, all of which was then edited into the ten thirty-some seconds tracks that make up the album. A seething cauldron of sounds, Nineteen Ninety comes across as an amalgam of condensed genres, mauled and mangled into something resembling conflagrated blast beats or ultra-compressed Dubstep mixed with Grindcore. Dancing on a knife-edge between coherence and sheer gibbering lunacy, the release is a certified entry into the "play loud" canon of aggressive electronic music.
Skrot Up was established in Copenhagen in the fall of 2008.
Based on a love of audio oddities, Skrot Up began as a worldwide quest for strange and exciting music.
