Impasse Plays by Sleet Walls
Recorded in several haphazard stages, this album was constructed with just a guitar, pedals, and amplifiers. No vocals, no drums, and with only minimal overdubs.
This stark setup is contrasted with the shuddering walls of drones and squalls of feedback that make up these songs, whose compositions owe as much as to shoegaze and doom metal as they do to minimalism and psychedelia.
