While living in an offbeat Hollywood bungalow built on what was once the renowned estate and gardens of French-American painter Paul de Longpré, Smo unearthed a time capsule comprised of letters, photographs, original paintings, and—most astonishingly—musical compositions written by the celebrated flower artist. Fascinated by the fragments of a forgotten time, Smo harnessed the themes and emotions of de Longpré’s work to create a bridge between the past and present - the album, "de Longpré."

Smo's eclectic production style re-imagines the elegance of de Longpré’s century-old artworks, blending them with serene indie pop ambiance to create a contemporary sonic landscape. With "de Longpré," Smo Sullivan pays homage to a forgotten creative visionary from Hollywood's lesser-known history, bringing his legacy to life in a collection of songs as vibrant and intricate as the floral masterpieces that inspired them.
