Bell City by Snowy

I wrote and recorded this album at Kyneton Springs Motel, Kyneton, VIC over a couple of days and nights in May this year. I ran with whatever idea first emerged and improvised structures to each piece on the fly. Melodies and lyrics came about in the same way and once I felt like I’d done enough I moved onto the next “song” (there ended up being 17 in total) without listening back.

I deliberately didn’t listen to any of the songs for months and when I eventually revisited them I “Mr. Squiggled” them into new shapes. Some songs needed a few connecting lines to make something recognisable. Others got flipped upside down and turned into something unrecognisable. Some were already complete but others are just left unfinished.
