Shining birds

Wishing you’d be there

Like bubbles in the air

Sweet hot wind
Over my skin
Your hands
Blossoming trees
Hummingbirds and dreams
Your smile

The smell of your perfume is haunting me
Wherever I look I see
Your loving face
And I cannot stay
Far away from you for too long

Mist of the day
Scent of sand and clay
Your skin
Exotic mist
Strawberries and cream
Your charm

Wishing you’d be there
Right here
