Two years ago LAUVLAUVLAUV came to the world, shily and trembling, I had not much hopes that it could stand on its own, but it did, probably beyond my expectations.
...but what were my expectations?
I wanted this to be a love letter to all that had happened in years this alias has lasted, but an unsatisfiable chase for the final shot that would catapult me to the assurance of a life everybody in my surroundings demanded from me, some distractions, and an ever growing demotivation fueled by my surroundings ended up killing half of what I originally had planned permanently.
I've got no will to finish these projects, I've got no will to finish any other, but to make justice to the quote that once drove the creation of this album itself, from my major artistic inspiration, "Your people deserve to feel what you once felt with these songs", here they are, the bones of what this album could have been, freshly ripped away from their tombs, hoping that as frigid as they are they somehow cause a warmth in you.
At some point relistening to the songs in this album I hated how fatiguing they all sounded, so I re-exported them without the original master chain, some balancing there and there and, I feel they are much softer to the ear now. I also loudness normalized all content so your ears don't explode from the different volumes from each song.
One last message for the musicians in the audience. I don't wanna see ANY of you LISTLESSLY, LAZILY, HALFHEARTEDLY, SHAMELESSLY PLAGIARIZING, RIPPING, STEALING, OR DOING ANYTHING REMOTELY IN BAD FAITH with these songs. They may never be released officially but I'm not gifting you any right for these either. If you find inspiration from these then BE CREATIVE ABOUT IT. if I find out any of you being a dumbass with these songs I'm COPYRSTRIKING YOU to hell, I guarantee you.
