And maybe I'm a little hairy

What I do is find your lost toy
The one that gave you most joy
I take my fairy shaped hand
And bury it in the sand

Then I cover it over again
So in nine days or maybe ten
Yep, just what you've been wishing
You'll find what you've been missing

I keep track on a grid
Which sand for which kid
Blake's toy is usually bound
For the back left corner of the park playground

Leslie's not very hard
There's a box in the backyard
Kai, it says on my papers
Will find it right at the neighbors

There may be too many rules
But I bury some at your schools
I move fast as a fox
From sandbox to sandbox

And to nature's biggest sandlot
I have frequently brought
The lost toy for each
Kid who frequents the beach
