i’m walking through the rain
i feel confused about myself, it’s like a tape

i hear to much about how i’m supposed to live my life
the thorns of other people's lessons, this is unsolicited advice

it has struck me

people who without asking start telling me their advice

i want to dream like a child, i want to fly away
i can’t breathe, my lungs are enough

holding back my tears
i want to fly away
because their tape is jammed
but i’ve run out of patience
with the old hope that barely
holds me up from/to explosion
