❖ 作品概観
本展『祝祭』は、記憶の固定と未来の生成という、時間の二項対立をめぐる展示である。
2曲から成るこのミニマルな構成は、観る者／聴く者に、過剰な意味の供給を許さない。
残されたものと、残さなかったもの。展示された記憶と、まだ描かれていない未来。
それらの狭間にあるのは、“額縁”である。
額縁とは、距離の装置であり、非接触の証明である。
彼女と彼を囲んでいたのは、古びたパリの教会の静寂。
長いトレーン、薔薇の香り、シルクの感触。
すべては“絵画”の中に置かれた。
「あの瞬間が本当にあった」と示すために、逆に触れられなくする。
これが、このEPの基本構造である。
花の都パリ。
花は散るから美しい。
香りのように目には見えない。
