Denis Rodier (drums & visuals) and ex-Talisma Martin Vanier (guitar) are the core of Specimen13.
They have the honour of having friends helping out in shaping their vision: Trey Gunn, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto & Markus Reuter to name a few.
Specimen13 is the brainchild of drummer and internationally renowned graphic novel artist, Denis Rodier, together with Martin Vanier on guitar, bass and soundscapes, SPECIMEN13 and its first musical offering, ECHOSYSTEM, is the fruit of several years of labor with collaboration on an international scale.
Echosystem is 34 minutes of powerful Eclectic Prog Rock similar to the contemporary stylings of Tool, Porcupine Tree and the more recent works of King Crimson.
Specimen13 is still developing as a unit and their music is in constant mutation.

Echosystem un puissant amalgame d'Eclectic Prog Rock rappelant la modernité de leurs contemporains tels Tool, Porcupine Tree et les moutures récentes de King Crimson.
Specimen13 est un groupe en constant renouvellement et toujours en mutation
