Grommet was the mother ship. The egg sack that fertilized Armpit, Teen-x-Ray, Dr Fil, Pumice, Crawdads, Scabby Shits, Queenie Wahine Papaya, Thee Ideal Gus and more. I met them when I was 16 and they were the magical mixture of Captain Haddock & Metallica I didn't know I had been looking for. It really was a wet dream to be allowed to join.

There was never a steady line-up but there was always kegs of Waikato and lots & lots of guitarists, penis keyboards & rubbish bins played with hammers.
