Rift by StapleMouth & Th' Mole

ESTUARY is a three-part conceptual rap project by StapleMouth & Th’ Mole, two of the underground’s fiercest and weirdest, released, in cooperation, by Weird Rap, SUPERIORBELLY, and Cane Corso Records.

StapleMouth’s complex, rapid-fire rhymes and Th’ Mole’s intricately sculpted instrumentation combine to produce a distinctly dense album. So nuanced and layered in fact, that it has been deconstructed and its parts isolated for closer examination. This project will take on multiple forms for new listening experiences.

RIFT is a prelude to the Estuary album. The A side of this cassette consists of Estuary’s raps stripped of their beats, accompanied only by atmospheric ambience and the sparsest of musical accents, while side B features a slight reimagining of the album’s rich instrumentals.

Later this year, Estuary, an album probing the depths of detriment, will be released on vinyl where vocals and beats finally fuse.

The Rift cassette, limited to a hand-numbered edition of 50, is now available to pre-order.
