City Song from City Song by Steve Lucas / Double Cross
I wrote this song not long after my first trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Still not sure which city it is about! It was released as my first ever solo single, a different sound than the one on the LP Double Cross.
This version has Tania Davies singing the bvs along with me.
The clip was made by some dear friends of mine in Sydney although the album was recorded in Melbourne... a tale of two cities perhaps? It was released originally on the Rampant Label back around 1986 or so.
Released only on vinyl previously... very rare now.

X's bloodied history has been well known so we'll skip that here.
Steve also fronted Bigger Than Jesus, Double Cross and The Groody Frenzy. All very successful in their own right.
