Psychotic Episode by Steven Van Horny

For this song I wanted to create a certain type of atmosphere with changes of tempo. Still using the TD-3 as a sequencer and using more instruments such as the DFAM. Wanted to induce some type of nervousness sonically with a fast LFO modulating the synthesizers. Building up this weird atmosphere of anxiety and uneasiness until it reaches a boiling point and bringing it down with a change of tempo into oblivion and a sense of unexpectedness.

Started originally as a noise project to make collaborations with members of Deche-Charge. Turned into a Eurorack Modular Noisescapes project when in 2019 I started getting into semi-modular synthesizers and not too long after that I got finally into Eurorack, and then the rest is history !
