Black Hole by Broken Breaks
To close out 2019, we introduce a hybrid creation from newly-formed Los Angeles drum and bass duo, Broken Breaks. Drawing influence from a gritty melange of old- and new-school breakbeat styles: jungle beats, halftime-styled bass music, and raw drum and bass, the ‘Black Hole’ EP draws us into a vicious landscape of high-fidelity synths and churning basslines backed by an intoxicating blend of crisp drum patterns and haunting vocal samples.
