Biike by Schall und Stille
SBC are delighted to welcome back Schall und Stille with their new EP 'Biike'.
A wintry journey to the north and the tradition of "Biike" (the burning of large bonfires to bid farewell to winter) served as inspiration for this meditation on friendship, self-discovery and ephemerality. Recorded mainly on the North Sea island of Föhr, this new EP shows Schall und Stille combining atmospheric instrumentals with pop sensibility.
All proceeds from this EP go to "Tara Tierhilfe e.V.", an animal sanctuary near Cologne, Germany, which is home to more than 70 horses, goats, sheep, donkeys and pigs. For those interested, here's who they are and what they do: www.tara-tierhilfe.de
