Wondrous Day by Sudama Mark Kennedy

On the occasion of such an important election in the US, please enjoy this celebration of our divine nature, of our democracy, and our wondrous aspirations.

Creating a song is a magical mystery tour. It's like tuning into God's Groove Station. I had a batch of poetic phrases. They turned into this song when I sat with them and focused on them. There was also a classical melody that emerged from something I had written three years ago that worked well. The Sanskrit wanted to be what it was and flowed with the chords… and voila! Wondrous Day!

There is a lot of heart feeling that comes through when I play this song. That is the true and pure basis of its creation.
