Blood & Honey from Blood & Honey by Summer of Hate
'Blood and Honey' defines our double LP by blending both contrasting sounds from "Blood" and the "Honey" sides. It's meditative crescendo that could've been written by the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club if they had ever ridden their bikes to India. The blues are subliminal, and they carry you floating through the ether into a guitar explosion of the likes that we haven't quite heard since the first two Radiohead albums. It's shoegaze being used for dramatic effect, telling a story of wanting to die with the person you love. A song that dives into psychosis, through marching, circular rhythms, a restless bassline and comes back again, full impact to die once more.
