Grown is a concept album created by Los Angeles lyricist, J Walker and UK producer SVNTY6, where they tackle real life in a Hip Hop format.
Real, humble and still chasing dreams in their 40s, this duo delivers something unique which will be appreciated by many.
The album captures the hunger of aspiring men balancing their dreams with the reality of adult life; plus mirrors the feelings of many golden-era fans and artists.
If you like great word play, intelligent lyrics and emotional, soul sampled production, then J Walker and SVNTY6 are for you.
Both were searching for inspiration and a place in this Hip Hop industry until they connected online - across the Atlantic - and created this ‘foreign exchange’ album without a face to face meeting.
Adulting is hard. Hip-Hop doesn’t have to be.
