Strange times left me out
Formed like clay forged in the ground
On a beach with shells that shine
And stars above to bind the time
Twisting and waking
Gonna catch back up and milk the stem
Waiting and waiting
I’m sick of waiting

Cold water stone
Come be my only hope
Come still these rolling bones
We ain't had the time

Ten times the light of dawn
The darkness shines like a holy rose
A fortress built of kryptonite
The clouds might spill the gods tonight
Been chasing that faded line
To the dawn’s edge Where they say sun rises
Eastward, west north and south
And all directions scattered now

That hell’s long road
Will end in snow
