Every week, musicians from the now defunct Elephant 6 Townhall would put together a compilation of songs written and recorded in an hour, sometimes on a theme. In March of 2012, I started to contribute to the compilation. These are the first songs I had ever written to the point of completion (or at least partial completion), and recorded, all in my bedroom, all in an hour or less (which should go without saying because they are riddled with "character").
