Motion from Renovatio by Synthetic Epiphany
Motion was actually the first track I wrote for this EP. It was sketched out on my laptop over a long train journey, and was the very first thing I produced once I had rebuilt my computer after the hard drive disaster. I was really trying to get across the feeling of movement I was experiencing as I sat in that carriage as night fell. The melody was one I wrote on a piano a while ago and recorded on my phone. When I got home I added in the reversed guitar riffs and sharpened the track up generally.
