17 pistas de artistas emergentes y establecidos de siete países latinoamericanos nos revelan los ecos de una historia compartida, bella, violenta, y caotica a partes iguales.

Curada por Daniel Lofredo Rota (Quixosis) y Gregorio Hernández (dj +1), esta colección esta atravesada por los fantasmas de incertidumbre y oportunidades perdidas que rondan el trasfondo de la experiencia latinoamericana del siglo XXI.

Tras un turbulento 2024, proponemos una mirada distinta hacia la hauntología (fantología). En lugar de lamentar glorias perdidas —una obsesión del Norte Global—, confrontamos el espectro del Estado fallido, la inestabilidad crónica y la promesa desvanecida de futuros que quizás nunca lleguen.

Estas canciones reflexionan sobre el futuro de una sociedad que negocia constantemente un futuro comprometido, y de cómo vivir —e incluso amar— dentro de esa tensión.


Fantolog[ia I explores the aesthetics, sonorities, and textures evolving in distant corners of the sparse geographies of Latin America; 17 tracks by emerging and established artists remind us of the common ground of our shared Latin American experience. Threads from a common history, equal parts beauty, mystery, chaos and violence come together, revealing a complex emergent world as they interweave.

Curated by Quixosis and Dj +1, the compilation is brought together by the ghostly presence of uncertainty that serves as backdrop for the Latinamerican experience in the 21st century. Struck by a particularly chaotic and unstable 2024 in the entire region, our compilation approaches the idea of hauntology (fantologia) from a fresh perspective; focusing not on the phantoms of past glories of a society in decadence that so insistently haunt the global north, but by the spectre of failed statehood, instability, and the vanishing ghost of promised futures which will never come to be. Meditating on, and eternally coming to terms with the perpetually compromised future of a society precariously balanced on the edge of disaster. And learning to accept it, to love it, to be it.
