Founded in 1998, originality and variety has played from the beginning a prominent role in the music of Taste Of Tears.
Taste Of Tears could demonstrate as well on several occasions in live concerts their abilities in front of a large audience (as the opening act for Entombed, Sepultura, Legion Of The Damned, Cataract, Negligence, Mendeed,...).
The intense time of songwriting and rehearsing was worth the effort: the result is a nearly one hour album titled „Once Human“.
They were described already with their demos as “Death meets Control Denied“, but now Taste Of Tears goes a step further and extends the mix of death and power metal with progressive, jazz and hymnal elements.
While technical and demanding, the songs still don't neglect melody, heavyness and emotion.
